Art allows me to immerse in the mindful state of creating. Identity was the inspiration for this watercolour portrait. It is inspired by a photo from the artist @peregrinehonig, it reminded me of all the impressionistic muse portraiture paintings, with a contemporary relaxed pose. Life drawing and figurative painting has been absent due to Covid restrictions. This photo drew me to paint it with the direct gaze, colourful dress and the pose has a curled  form.
